I want to wish everyone a Happy Holiday and a very healthy New Year!!
2010 was a very inspiring year for me for I moved my family from California to Maui, Hawaii, which was an incredible feat in itself. My husband, Charlie, revived his Musical Hope Campaign traveling all over the islands spreading his message of love and inspiration while I helped my three kids adjust to island life. Fortunately for me, I had the most creative sewing streak of my career and spent late nights designing, plotting and creating Ri Lala. It is amazing to see how much inspiration there is in nature through the colors, the ocean, waterfalls, mountains, flowers, rainbows and the smiles on my children faces as they discover new life all around them.This magical place has inspired me and given me the passion to create simple yet attractive clothing that fit the practical needs of my community.
2011 has unfolded before my eyes and new and exciting textiles are already off the cutting table and into production! Ri Lala is also expanding it's line of apparel and adding new creations for little girls and boys and, for the first time, will be tailoring unique and playful clothing for YOUR inner child!
Yes, the feedback has been overwhelming and I will roll out a line of dresses for MOMs too!
The Pre-Spring collection will launch in February with aTrunk Show on Maui and look out for Ri Lala at a boutique near you coming next Summer. We are expanding our distribution! Yeah!
